| Typically I draw on cold-press illustration board or heavy-ply bristol board , in india ink using a crow quill or hawk quill nib (the self portrait , however,was drawn with pencil). I see order in the utilitarian shapes and in the textures and shadows of old wooden structures , implements,and objects-- and i see them disappearing apace. I record them,while I can. Shape and texture and shadow are not color-daubed subtleties to my eye. They are .... black and gray and white. Pricing on Original artwork is priced individually.
